Quick Fix for Stuck Sliding Screen Doors: Roller & Track Tips

Unlike the heavy-duty rollers on your glass door, screen door rollers are usually small, cheap plastic wheels. They sit in the same salty, sandy track as your main door. The plastic becomes brittle from the sun, cracks, and the wheels break off or get jammed with pet hair and dirt.

A 'sliding screen door repair' is fast. A technician can pop the lightweight screen door out, replace the old plastic rollers (often just held by a single screw) with new, higher-quality ones, and have it back on the track in minutes.
